WATERPROOFNESS Waterproofness is vital when it comes to riding out in the elements. Riding gear that allows you to get wet is not only uncomfortable, but can be life-threatening. A lot of products claim to be waterproof and are initially, but after subjecting them to the demands of riding they quickly lose their waterproofness, leaving you wet and uncomfortable. MOBILITY Correct patterning is essential in ensuring that riding gear allows you to move the way you need to move. With correct patterning you will find that your clothing will work with you, not against you, reducing muscle fatigue and increasing overall comfort. FIT Overall fit is a complicated process, but is crucial to overall comfort. Patterning of a garment needs to take into account body type and body proportion.
